Son of Nkosi Ngoma Kelela, the First Drum Priest, and Queen Nandolo of the Makanda Court, Nzaku unites celestial harmony with mortal flame. His birth during the Storm of Thousand Beats awakened ancient forces buried beneath the sands of Kelela. Trained by his father in the Doctrine of Ngoma, he learned that rhythm is not for glory but for balance. At his initiation, a single strike of his drum opened the First Gate of Makanda — binding his soul to the rhythm of existence. Since then, Nzaku has stood as the eternal protector of the Five Gates, each representing the laws of power, emotion, strength, thought, and truth. When the Gates tremble, his heartbeat restores them. When the universe falters, his rhythm rekindles creation.
